Dashiki Diaries in partnership with Amplify Africa organized the first edition of Amplify Africa Brunch; a community development & charity fundraiser on Saturday, March 16th, 2019. City officials, influencers and community members joined us in helping STEM South Sudan build a computer class for a much deserving elementary school in South Sudan. Proceeds from ticket purchases were donated to STEM South Sudan!

Amplify Africa Brunch is a celebration of culture and community. In breaking bread and forging new friendships, the brunch seeks to bring Africans and allies together for a unique networking experience which takes place on the same day in several cities around the world.

What was the experience like?

Tickets granted guests entry to the AfroBrunch private lounge. The vibe was filled with great Afrobeats music, delightful bites, prize giveaways, special performance by New Orleans Inspirational artist 'Casme', distinguished guest speakers and a lot of professional and personal networking!
